The Cheyenne Open Liner Cartridges use an open needle configuration - each needle runs parallel to the tip rather than being compressed into a point. This produces richer, fuller lines with every pass, making them ideal for artists working in American traditional, Japanese traditional, and neo-traditional styles.

The needle package uses a shorter solder-free length than standard shader configurations, producing a stiffer unit that gives you tighter control over line placement. Individual needle diameter increases with package size rather than simply adding more needles of the same gauge, optimising line quality at each scale.

The cartridges are compatible with Cheyenne rotary machines and third-party machines when used with a Cheyenne grip. Orange caps allow quick identification during sessions, and colourless transparent tips give you a clear view of ink flow.
