Irish tattoo artist Dylan Sutton, aka Suttoos, is the man behind some of the boldest and cleanest geometric blackwork you’ll ever see!

Hailing from Ireland’s capital city of Dublin, Dylan started his tattooing career building an impressive portfolio of primarily blackwork at local studios Swords Ink, Demon’s Hand Tattoo and Underground Ink.

After a short stint at Underground Ink’s Cyprus shop in 2017, Dylan made the permanent move back to Dublin and joined Colour Works Tattoo Studio. With help and support from fellow artists, he continued to improve as a geometric blackwork tattooist, while also expanding his horizons with some neo-traditional colour pieces.

With his work already at an incredibly high-level, as well as gaining experience from tattoo conventions across Europe, Dylan left the busy shop life in early 2019 to set up his own home studio, affectionately known between friends as “The Tat Shack”.

Working away from the hustle and bustle of a city centre studio meant that Dylan could really knuckle down and focus on his work, and he’s continued to go from strength to strength with all aspects of blackwork, from bold geometric pieces to crisp mandalas, clean dotwork and everything in-between.

Dylan uses a variety of supplies from Killer Ink to create his blackwork body art, most notably the range of vegan black tattoo inks from Silverback Ink®.
